KUMARHATTI: The police has seized 5.2-kg charas from a bus passengers near Timber Trail Resort on Kalka-Shimla national highway about 24-km from here past midnight. Mahipal who was traveling in a CTU bus from Shimla to Chandigarh was asked to show his bag during a late night naka put up by the police.
The police led by Mr. K.D. Khan, SHO during checking of bag have got suspicious after finding a polythene pack inside the bag. The bus was taken to police station where the charas was recovered from bag.
Mahipal hailed from Teunee in Uttrakhand. A case has been registered.
