New Delhi: In recognition for promoting excellence in administration of Public Sector Undertakings, RN Mishra, Chairman & Managing Director, SJVN Limited was conferred with Legend PSU Shining Award for the year 2014 at a function here on Tuesday (28.4.2015).
The award was presented by Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki, Governor of Punjab & Haryana.
Talking about the expansion plans of SJVN RN Mishra said that works on executing the 1320 MW Buxar Thermal Power Project in Bihar were in full swing.
He also declared that the 412 MW Rampur HE Project in Himachal Pradesh had commenced generation and the power being generated was feeding the northern grid states of Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Chandigarh & Delhi.
SJVN has already entered the Wind Energy sector with commissioning of the 47.6 MW Khirvire Wind Power Project in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra, said Mishra.
The Legend PSU Shining Awards aims to honour achievers playing vital role in Indian Economy and maintaining pace of Economic Growth of India, stated an SJVN spokesman.
