[lang_en]Rajiv Bindal, Health and Family Welfare Minister said that the Himachal Government was committed to provide better health facilities in the rural and remote areas and the health plans for all the districts would be prepared within a month to achieve the objective.
He further said that 48 crores were being sanctioned under the National Rural Health Mission for the State while the Rogi Kalyan Samities were being re-constituted and public representatives, media persons and NGOs were taking active part. He announced that every PHC was provided with 1.75 lac; 2.50 lac to every CHC and Civil Hospital and 5 lac to every Referral Hospital under Rogi Kalyan Samiti. A plan worth 3.24 crores has been prepared to generate health awareness in 3243 Gram Panchayats and added that awareness regarding AIDS, Anaemia, cleanliness, female foeticide and mother child welfare would be generated under the program.[/lang_en]
