NAHAN: Students of Sangrah Degree College led by its Principal Dr Subhash Gupta, today completed a two day cleanliness campaign, launched to clean up Sangrah market and surroundings.
At a function organised in the College compound with the collaboration of Science and Technology council of Himachal Pradesh was inaugurated by Dr Subhash Gupta who listed out several measures to save the environment of the country. A number of college lecturer and environmentalists also delivered their speeches and discussed world wide environment related issues at large on this occasion. Speakers expressed their deep concern on the global warming and called upon the world community to make honest efforts to fight out this problem by adopting environment friendly approach in every sphere of life.
Collage students also took active part in the function. A colorful cultural programme aimed on ‘Save Environment’ and simple and beautiful life style of hilly people was also presented on this occasion.
