Shimla: Sh. Shallinder Singh, chief General Manager at SJVN, has been appointed Director (Personnel) at Tehri Hydro Development Corp India Limited (THDCIL), a Mini Ratna, Schedule ‘A’ Public Sector Undertaking, by the Union India .
Sh Shallinder, with over 30 years of experience in the power sector, was holding the post of Chief General Manager (HR), heading the HR Department at SJVN.
He has been selected for the position by Public Enterprise Selection Board, Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India.
During his tenure with SJVN, he successfully implemented numerous HR initiatives such as Implementation of SAP ERP based HR Module across organization, Implementation of Balanced Score Card as strategic intervention, steering Employee Development for entire organization through various L&D interventions and enhanced the Media Outreach of the organization.
Born on 19th August 1965, Shallinder holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Himachal Pradesh University. With a Bachelor‘s in English (Honors), he did his schooling at St. Edward School in Shimla.
