Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Horticulture Minister Narender Bragta has been allotted additional portfolios of health and family welfare and ayurveda, a statement said Tuesday.
Governor Urmila Singh gave assent to the allocation of additional portfolios to Bragta on the recommendations of Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal, the statement said.
These portfolios were held by Dhumal following the resignation of Rajeev Bindal as health minister in July.
Bindal resigned as cabinet minister after being appointed as general secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
