Mangrot Village_Bilaspur_Air Erosion

Air erosion patterns are a characteristic property of the snow deserts like Spiti , Lahaul, and Ladakh. However, on the Shimla-Dharamsala NH-88, as you go towards Shimla, just after you cross Ghaghas, you will see these patterns to your left.

The name of the village where these patterns appear is Mangrot and it lies in the Bilaspur District.

A small land are is eroded while it remains surrounded by greenery. On a rainy day, these patterns look beautiful.
