Senior Bureaucrats reshuffled in Himachal

Shimla: A fortnight before the winter session of Vidhan Sabha, the Himachal government carried out a reshuffle of senior officers, transferring 10 IAS officers, which includes two deputy commissioners and 3 HAS officers.

Deputy commissioner Mandi, Onkar Sharma has been transferred and posted as Divisional Commissioner Kangra. Deputy commissioner Solan, Amandeep Garg has been shifted to Mandi as the new deputy commissioner.

Amar Singh Rathore, special secretary redressal of public grievance has been made the new deputy commissioner of Solan.

Deepak Sanan moves out as principal secretary health and has been appointed as principal secretary multi-purpose project and power, relieving chief secretary Asha Swaroop of the additional charge.

He has been replaced by PC Dhiman, who was the principal secretary education.

Shirkant Baldi, principal secretary rural development and Panchayati has been transferred and posted as principal secretary education.

RD Dhiman, the excise and taxation commissioner has been made the new secretary of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj.

Jagdish Chander, managing director HP Power Transmission Corporation has been posted as the new excise and taxation commissioner.

TC Janartha, Divisional commissioner Kangra at Dharamshala has been transferred and posted as managing director of General Industries Corporation relieving Manoj Kumar, the director industries of the additional charge.

Ajay Tyagi, principal secretary finance has been given the additional charge of information and technology relieving BK Aggrawal of the additional charge.

Traun Kapoor, MD of HP power corporation has been given additional charge of Director Energy.

The three HAS officers transferred include BR Kaundal who stands transferred from ADM development Chamba as the ADM Development at Bilaspur.

Ashwani Chaudhary, SDM Bhattiyat in Chamba has been transferred as ADM development Chamba.

Rajiv Kumar who was awaiting posting has been made the sub-divisional officer (civil) at Rampur in Shimla district.
