Shimla: A young man, Arun Tanta, died on the spot in Jubbal area after his motorcycle rammed into a truck on Wednesday afternoon.
Owner of the truck has been detained and police in investigating the accident, said a police spokesman.
The accident victim was a resident of Jubbal area and after conducting a post-mortem the body was handed over to the relatives, police said.
