Shimla: Omkar Shad, is announced as a candidate from Mandi Constituency for Parliamentary seat most likely against Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) candidate, Maheshwar Singh and Former Chief Minister, Virbhadara Singh of Congress Party.
CPI(M) also said that from other constituencies they will try to defeat Congress and BJP by supporting their rival.

Raised in Shimla and originally from Mandi district, Disha wears many caps which includes being part of a lead team of a fast growing IT company based out of Chandigarh. Earlier Disha was associated with My Himachal and visits Shimla regularly.
