Shimla: In a written reply to a question by Mohinder Singh (BJP) the minister for housing and urban development informed the Himachal Vidhan Sabha today that there were 157 builders registered in the state under HP Apartment and Property Regulation Act, 2005.
Out of the registered builders only 29 had bought land in the state and construction by 13 builders had been started at 16 sites, the reply stated.
The builders who had started construction works included Panchkula based Amarnath Aggrawal Builders at Dakru village and at Saraj Majra Gujran village in Nalagarh tehsil; Chandigarh based Lalit Jindal promoted Hill View Infrastructure Pvt Ltd at village Bhatouli Kalan and Mauza Kunjhal of Pargana Dharampur in Nalagarh tehsil; Delhi based Daleep Moudgil promoted Omaxe Construction Ltd at village Chakkan and village Billanwali in Nalagarh tehsil; Chandigarh based Ashwin Johar promoted MDC Estate Pvt Ltd at village Bhatouli Kalan of Pargana Dharampur in Nalagarh tehsil; Chandigarh based Akhil Mahajan promoted Uniroyal Builders & Developers at Village Chak in Nalagarh tehsil; Solan based SS Juneja at village Judi Kalan in Nalagarh tehsil; Chandigarh based Jitender Mittal promoted Gee City Buildgers at Village Judi Khurd/Suraj Majra in Nalagarh tehsil; Delhi based Kailash Gehlot promoted Brisk Constructions Pvt Ltd at Village Judi Khurd in Nalagarh tehsil; Baddi based Ajit Gupta promoted High Valley Builders at Mouja Bated in Kasauli tehsil; Chandigarh based NK Gupta promoted Divine Developers at Village Dadibhola in Nalagarh tehsil; Chandigarh based Aashish Goel promoted Castle Concrete Infrastructure at village Tipre-Barotiwala in Kasauli tehsil; Panchkula based Krishan Goel promoted Motia Developers at village Suraj Majra Labana in Nalagarh tehsil and Parwanoo based Prem Sagar Goyal in Mauza Kalyanpur Pragana Dharampur of Nalagarh tehsil.
