DALAI LAMA VISITS RAJGARH AREA

Top Tibetian religious leader Dalai Lama today arrived on two day visit at Yongdrung Mon Monastery situated in the Dolanji Tibetian settlement in Kala Ghat area of Rajgarh Sub Division. He was given a grand traditional welcome by the Tibetian residents of the area.

Residents of the area were very happy and celebrated this day as one of biggest occasion of their life as their beloved religious leader and biggest Guru of Tibetian Buddhists was in their village after a gap of nearly 20 years. District administration had made tight security arrangements on this occasion.

After receiving welcome and showering blessings on the followers, Dalai Lama performed religious Pooja inside the Monastery as per Tibetian traditions and delivered religious discourses to the large number of Tibetian residents and other followers assembled in the compound of Monestry on this occasion.

As per programme announced by the organizers, supreme religious leader would take part in several religious functions at Dolanji this evening and tomorrow. Dalai Lama would address Tibetian social workers who were ensuing several welfare programmes for Tibetians and would dedicate a newly constructed Library to the residents tomorrow. On this occasion a colorful cultural programme would be presented by the students of local Tibetan school. Dalai Lama would leave for Dharamshala on Sunday.
