Himachal goverrnment recieves 295 lakhs for development of eco-tourism

[lang_en]Jagat Prakash Nadda, the Forest Minister announced that an amount of 295 lakhs have been released by the Government of India for development of eco-tourism circuits in Kullu, Kinnaur, Shimla and Bilaspur districts.
Nadda said that the Himachal government is giving preference to eco-tourism in order to attract more tourists. Himachal government also plans to strengthen eco-tourism sites/ circuits in Great Himalayan National Park Kullu, Chamba and Shimla Wild Life/Forest divisions. He said that the H.P. State Forest Corporation would manage seven eco-tourism sites/ circuits, while the Corporation is developing an eco-tourism site at Narkanda.[/lang_en]
