Chennai, June 27 (IANS) Budget airline AirAsia Thursday revised the schedule of its daily Kolkata-Bangkok flight that will come into effect from July 15.
A statement issued by the airline said its daily Kolkata-Bangkok flight (FD 2672) has been rescheduled to depart Kolkata at 1:45 a.m. and arrive in Bangkok’s Don Mueang International Airport at 5.55 a.m. from July 15.
“Meanwhile, daily flights from Bangkok Don Mueang International Airport to Kolkata (FD 2671) will depart at 12:05 a.m. and arrive in Kolkata at 1:15 a.m., allowing passengers to enjoy a full day in Bangkok before catching their flight back to India,” the statement said.
Daily flights will facilitate those who fly for quick business trips. “Apart from affordable fares, we are happy to offer flight times that are convenient for our passengers,” Tassapon Bijleveld, chief executive of Thai AirAsia was quoted as saying in the statement.
Thai AirAsia currently operates daily flights from Kolkata and Chennai to Bangkok.
