Mumbai May 8 (IANS) Debutant director Faraz Haider, who has just wrapped up shooting for his film, a satire on war, in Bikaner, says it won’t have any item song.
The film “War Chhod Na Yaar” stars Soha Ali Khan and Sharman Joshi in he lead roles.
“We will not have any item number in the film, but yes, we will be shooting for a promotional song with Soha and Sharman in Mumbai,” Haider told IANS.
“Actually, there will be two promotional songs – one will be by the stars for the soldiers and the other I will shoot with the soldiers,” he added.
Haider says they have tried to make the film within budget.
“We have shot the entire film in Bikaner. We created the entire border in Bikaner and tried to keep the film in budget and thanks to the team for that. We will shoot a few portions in Delhi as well,” said the director who had assisted Dibaker Banerjee in “Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!”.
The film is being produced by Prashant Narayanan, who had earlier produced three films in Malayalam.
