Islamabad, April 11 (IANS) At least three people were killed and 22 injured when a bomb exploded in a camp of a peace militia in Pakistan’s tribal northwest Thursday, Xinhua reported.
Local TV channel ARY said the explosion occurred in the restive Tirah Valley area of Khyber Agency when militants targeted the camp of the pro-government militia formed by locals.
Tirah Valley is strategically important to both the Pakistan Army and militants as some of its major roads lead to Afghanistan.
