New Delhi, April 9 (IANS) A businessman was killed when his speeding SUV overturned and a woman was killed by a speeding truck in two separate accidents in the city, police said Tuesday.
Aditya, 25, died after his vehicle rammed into a road divider and overturned on Nelson Mandela Marg in south Delhi Monday night. His wife and sister were injured, police said.
In the other incident, Sonakhi, 30, died after a motorcycle on which she was riding pillion was hit by a truck in Mukundpur area in north Delhi Monday night. Her husband, who was driving the vehicle, was injured, police said.
Truck driver Puran was arrested, police said.
