Shri V.S. Kokje, the Governor of Himachal Pradesh today presided over the Rank and Bolt Award function jointly conducted by Air India, Divya Himachal and Janpaksh Mail for Himachal Pradesh at Hotel Peterhoff, Shimla in which the students of Himachal Pradesh who excelled in the field of academics were given Rank Awards (Race for Awareness and Knowledge) while Bolt awards (Broad Outlook- Learner Teacher) were awarded to the teachers for good teaching.
Speaking on the occasion, the Governor stressed on grounds like character building, responsible citizenship, devotion and community good. He announced that entries there were 4000 individuals from all the 12 districts, and appreciated the efforts of Air India, Divya Himachal and Janpaksh Mail for recognizing good students and teachers.
