
This is the second time that Hamirpur NIT has signed MOU with the foreign universities in field of education. Earlier, it had signed an MOU with Technical University of Sydney of Australia.
Prof. Bhat told reporters that both universities would work in unison for the exchange programmes in various field of education and especially in field of material testing, bio-technology and computronics. Short term courses would be held and experts from both institutes would visit each others country to deliver lectures there.
Prof. Robert. G.Harris presented a lecture on the racing car to the students of the institute on this occasion and stressed the need for doing some concrete research work to uplift the name of the institution in India and abroad.
It is worth mentioning here that Hamirpur NIT is one of the youngest engineering colleges of central government in Himachal Pradesh and is ranked at number twenty in field of its various activities.
