State Government would be carrying the regularization of all the eligible daily wagers completing prescribed minimum period of service of eight years on 31st March, 2006, promote part timers to daily wagers and make regularized staff eligible to draw pensionary benefits on attainment of the superannuation age besides process to regularize the services of about 1,000 daily wagers of HP State Forest Corporation was being expedited. This was revealed by Virbhadra Singh, Chief Minister, while addressing a number of deputations of daily wagers and part time workers, who met him in connection with regularization of their services here today.
Durin last four years about 30 thousand daily wagers completing eight years of service had been regularized in various departments, majority of which related to Public Works and Irrigation and Public Health Departments.
