15 PERSONS OF RIVAL GROUPS SENTENCED FOR AN INCIDENT OF BLOODY CLASH

A local court of Rajgarh today sentenced 15 persons of two rival groups in connection with a bloody clash which took place in the area in 2005 and announced six month imprisonment to them. The court also imposed a fine of rupees one thousand each under each section of 147, 148 and 323 of IPC.

As per prosecution, both groups clashed in Dimber Panchyat on November 29, 2005 and in this connection cross FIR’s were lodged with the Rajgarh Police by both groups. Due to this bloody clash there was tension in the area and administration had to deploy force in the area to maintain law and order at that time. The sentences were being seen as lessons for such people. It may be recalled that similar clashes had taken place a few days back in the Bohal Talia Panchyat also.
