Dharamshala: Fourteen14 tourists were rescued on Sunday at Bhagsunag waterfall near Dharamshala in Kangra district, who were stranded there as the water level in the waterfall suddenly increased, due the sudden rain on Sunday.
Tourists conveyed information to SDRF through local people. DSP Sunil Rana immediately reached the spot with the team and rescued the stranded tourists at two different places near the waterfall. The tourists were safely rescued by SDRF volunteers with the help of police and local people.
Local people also stranded along with tourists According to DSP Rana apart from local people the stranded tourists were from J&k , Punjab Haryana and Delhi.
