Dharamsala: Beating Punjab by 13 runs in semi-finals played at the Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata today, HP Cricket Association (HPCA) for the first time has reached the finals of the BCCI promoted Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2022-23.
Avnish Parmar, Hony. Secretary, HPCA said ,”It is a moment of pride for the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association that the undefeated team of this tournament, HPCA Men Senior Team has qualified for the final match of BCCI Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2022-23 which shall be played on 5th November at Kolkata.”
He further informed that HPCA team won its all-league games played against Bihar, Saurashtra, Baroda, Nagaland to reach quarter-finals and defeated host Bengal by 4 wickets to enter semi-finals.
Parmar said, “we are really proud of our players and supporting staff who year after year are bringing laurels to the state.”
The team from Himachal will play the final against the winner of the Mumbai vs Saurashtra match.
