Dharamshala: “I want to clear it to those, who do not want that the Central University should establish at Dehra, that the construction of the first block of the Central University will take place in Dehra itself, very soon,” These words were expressed by Union Minister of State for Finance Anurag Thakur while addressing a public meeting on the occasion of the reception at the Gram Panchayat Jandor and Nangal Chowk in Jaswa-Paragpur constituency today. He further said that due to the recently organised global investor meat of Dharamshala, industries will also be established in this area. Minister said that these panchayats have given a record lead to the party in the Lok Sabha elections and there will be no shortage of developmental works from our side either.
Thakur said that the work will be starting soon for the Kendriya Vidyalaya also in this area, which is being set up here at a cost of Rs10 crores,and for which the land has already been provided by the state government . He said that after a lot of efforts, money was provided for the construction of a bridge at the cost of Rs 63 crore on the Swan River. “This bridge will give all weather connectivity to the area and help in boosting tourism too,” said Anuraag.
Talking about the Ayodhya issue Minister said that the hundreds years old dispute has been resolved and the whole country welcomed the decision to build Ram temple . There was no protest nor any riot, this is New India. He said , “ we will build Ram Mandir with the cooperation of the whole of the country and I think it will become the biggest religious place in the world.” He added that this government have also removed 370 and 35A. and cleared way for Kashmiri Pandits to return home. He said that No country in the world went with Pakistan, they all supported India. Muslim women were Liberated from triple talaq. We did all this when we were not having majority in the Rajya Sabha.” It was only made possible because the whole country was with us, “ said Thakur. He said, “ in terms of economy, Himachal Pradesh comes in the first five of the fastest growing states of India, we have to increase this pace further. We produce electricity, we have land, we have young working people, they should work in our area than working outside.”
On this occasion, Industries Minister Bikram Thakur flagged off a HRTC bus from Sansarpur Terrace to Haridwar.
