Shimla: Federal ministry of surface transport and highways has sanction Rs 815.69 crore for a 4-Lane highway project running through Himachal Pradesh.
Chief minister Jai Ram Thakur thanked federal transport and highway minister Nitin Gadkari for sanctioning the amount that is to be used to fund rehabilitation schemes of affected families and for the upgradation to a four lane highway on the Thanpuri to Paror section of the Pathankot – Mandi road.
“This road project is slated to be completed in 21 months,” said the Chief Minister.
