Dharamshala: Students for a Free Tibet (SFT) held a protest here today against the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. The protesters were all wearing shirts with a clear message “No Beijing 2022” during its flame handover ceremony.
A spokesman for the protestors said that the official Olympic flame lighting ceremony for the Winter Olympics was held in the ancient Olympia and today the flame is being handed over to the Beijing 2022 organising committee delegation. “Our protest here today is to send a clear message to the international organisations and governments to implement the targeted sections against China and boycott the Beijing Olympics 2022
