Diversity Makes Himachal Best Investment Destination – Piyush Goyal

Dharamshala: Railway and Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal said that Rising Himachal Investor Meet is the first stop in the way of big investment in the state.  In the coming time, due to the arrival of more big investors in Himachal Pradesh, the state will be one of the progressive states across the country.

This was stated by  minister Goel while addressing the closing ceremony of the Investor on Friday at Dharamshala.  Goyal said that while appreciating Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur and his team, this meet for the first time in Dharamshala has been a complete success.  It is a big thing to sign MoUs of about 93 thousand crores far above the target of 85 thousand crores.  With the commencement of these projects in the coming times, where the doors of employment will open in Himachal Pradesh, the state will also become financially strong.
Inviting investors to come to Himachal, Goyal said that Goa too held an investor meet last month.  Goa has beautiful sea beaches to attract tourists, while Himachal has beautiful mountains&hill stations like Shimla and Dharmshala.  Himachal has always attracted tourists from all over the world due to its beauty and nature.  Apart from tourism, Himachal is now establishing itself in the industry as well and the way investors are showing their interest here, Rising Himachal will reach its goal in the true sense.

Goyal said that the central government is working on 10 principles to develop the country and woo investors.  State governments are also working on the same lines.  He said that during the tenure of the Modi government in the country, there has been zero tolerance on corruption.  In the same way now an honest government is working in Himachal.  He said that industry and government sector contribute to 70 percent GDP of the state.
Piyush said that he has always had a special attachment with Himachal and  especially the BJP-ruled Prime Ministers.  Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee made Manali his second home.  Similarly, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also has a special attachment with Himachal.  He also likes to come to Himachal.  All of them have a special contribution in the development of Himachal.
Although Home Minister Amit Shah was supposed to come at the conclusion of the meet, but his tour was canceled due to bad weather, due to which Railway Minister Piyush Goyal attended the closing ceremony as the Chief Minister.
