Dharamshala: Senior BJP leader Shanta Kumar has flagged the issue of construction not having started for Inn, a residential facility for attendants of patients visiting Dr RP Government Medical College, Tanda at Kangra, despite MP’s and BHEL, a public sector undertaking have made substantial contributions towards it.
Kumar who is an MP from Kangra in a press communique has stated that the Inn project was announced by the state government in 2012.
“I along with Mrs Viplov Thakur, a congress member of the Rajya Sabha, had donated Rs 25 lakh each for Inn and Bharat Heavy Electric Limited (BHEL) donated Rs 2 Crore in 2015, but work on the project is still to start,” said Shanta Kumar.
