Dharamshala: Veterinary surgeons Dr Adarsh Kumar and Dr UB Farooq from the Department of Veterinary Surgery & Radiology at Palampur Agriculture University were awarded gold medals for their research paper ‘Ultrasonographic differentiation between true and false colic in horses’ by the Indian Society of Veterinary Surgeons at their annual congress and symposium held at Chennai.
Dr S.K.Sharma, Dr Adarsh Kumar, Dr Amit Kumar and Dr Neha Kapil were handed appreciation certificates for small anesthesia and the department got appreciation for scientific contributions in the areas of diagnostic imaging and surgery in large and small animals, Hirday Poul Singh, the spokesman of the university stated.
