One dead, 24 injured in Himachal bus accident

Himachal bus accident leaves one dead, many injured

Dharamshala: A private carrier on way from Dharamshala to Dalhousie lost control and rolled down a valleyside near Pataka (Sihunta) in Chamba district today morning.

Vikram Singh, a resident of Tundi was declared dead and 24 sustained injuries. The accident victims have been rushed to Tanda Medical College & Hospital, Kangra, where they are being treated.

Cause of the accident could not be immediately known. Amit Mehra, sub-divisional magistrate Sihunta reached at the accidents site to supervise the rescue and relief operations.
