Airport Authority of India to Construct 45 Girls Toilets in Himachal

Shimla: Airport Authority of India (AAI) joined Prime Minister Narinder Modi’s ambitious Swatchh Vidalaya Campaign here in Himachal by starting construction work of girls toilet at Mool Koti School under Mashobara block.

Breaking ground yesterday, Parvindra Tiwari, Shimla airport director said that the work was being carried out under corporate social responsibility program of AAI.image 3

Tiwari disclosed that AAI would be constructing 35 toilet blocks in and around Shimla would be constructed besides 45 school toilets for girls for which a budget provision of Rs 1.22 crore had been marked.

In the country AAI has targeted to construct 765 toilets for girls in across 37 districts for which a budget of Rs 26.77 crore had been laid out, he added.

The work at  Mool Koti School was launched in presence of school principal Ms Anita, Commandant CISF  SK Singh, Sarav Shiska Abhiyan engineer Sanjeev Kumar and other officials.
