UAE president honours Kazakh envoy

Abu Dhabi, July 2 (IANS/WAM) UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has conferred the Independence Order-First Class on Kazakh ambassador Askar A. Mussinov in recognition of the efforts he made to strengthen bilateral ties.

Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash presented the honour to Mussinov Monday.

Gargash congratulated the ambassador and wished him success in his future assignment.

The Kazakh ambassador thanked the UAE president for honouring him, and also other officials of the UAE for the assistance and cooperation accorded to him during his tenure.
