Dehradun, June 27 (IANS) A minor earthquake hit Uttarakhand Thursday, officials said, adding that the tremor has not caused any damage or hit the relief efforts.
According to India Meteorological Department (IMD), the quake measured 3.5 on the Richter scale. The epicentre was near Pithoragarh, one of the areas affected by the floods.
An IMD official said that the earthquake was minor, and no damage or obstruction to relief work was caused.
