Joint secretary’s house burgled in Delhi

New Delhi, June 6 (IANS) Unidentified people burgled the house of a joint secretary working with the Ministry of External Affairs here, police said Thursday.

The incident was reported from New Delhi’s Chanakyapuri area Tuesday morning.

Dammu Ravi, the joint secretary, and his family were not in the city when the incident occurred in his flat situated on Satya Marg in Chanakyapuri.

Their servant found the main door of the flat open and the house ransacked. He informed Ravi’s relatives, who informed the police. It is yet to be ascertained how much money and valuables are missing from the house,” said a police official.
