Panaji, June 9 (IANS) “A good news will be given to the country soon,” BJP spokesperson Syed Shahnawaz Hussain said Sunday.
He made the announcement even as all eyes are set on the imminent elevation of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi as the party’s face for the 2014 Lok Sabha polls.
Modi, recently appointed a member of the party’s parliamentary board, is likely to be given a major role in leading the BJP’s battle for 2014.
This has upset several party leaders, including veteran L. K. Advani who skipped the meet citing health reasons.
