New Delhi, April 18 (IANS) A five-year-old kindergarten student was sodomised by his schoolteacher here in the capital, police said Thursday.
The incident was reported from East Delhi’s Jagatpuri area Wednesday afternoon where it occurred in a Municipal Corporation-run school.
The boy was rushed to Guru Teg Bahadur hospital by his family after he shared about the incident which occurred in the school premises.
The accused teacher, identified as Pramod, is in his early 30s. He was arrested after the victim’s statement to the police.
The child told police that he was sodomised inside the school’s bathroom, where his teacher took him on the pretext of providing some eatables.
The child was being treated at the hospital till last information.
