Patna, April 14 (IANS) At least four women drowned and one was missing Sunday after a boat carrying them capsized in the Gandak river in Bihar, officials said.
The boat capsized near Barhara village under Areraj block in East Champaran district. “Search is on to rescue the missing woman,” a police officer said.
A district administration official said four bodies had been recovered.
According to police, the women were returning home after collecting fodder for cattle.
