On Saturday 27 April 2013, BBA 1st year students of Bahra University visited the manufacturing plant of Ranbaxy, which is situated near Roopnagar (Ropar) in Punjab. A group of around 25 students of BBA experienced and enjoyed the real business environment at Ranbaxy’s Ropar plant during this 1-day industrial visit.
During their visited, the Human Resources Manager of Ranbaxy, Ajay Kumar Himanshu himself coordinated the industrial visit at Ropar plant. While interacting with the students that till date Ranbaxy had been entertaining industrial visits of only MBA and Engineering students. He congratulated the BBA students of Bahra University for being the first group of undergraduates in business management to visit Ranbaxy’s plant at Ropar, till date. Ajay Himanshu also explained the various career options available for BBA students.
Under the guidance of teachers of School of Management – Vivek Mittal and Uday Mittal, the students went around in the premises of the manufacturing plant of Ranbaxy. This industrial visit has motivated the students towards their goals to pursue career in business and management.
