New Delhi: The Delhi High Court has set up a special court for trial of the two Italian marines accused of killing two Kerala fishermen.
The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) of Patiala House court will hold trial of the two Italian marines, Massimilano Latorre and Salvatore Girone, high court sources said Monday.
Following a Jan 18 direction from the Supreme Court, the union government had March 23 asked the high court to constitute a special court in the case.
The Supreme Court had Feb 22 allowed the marines to go to Italy for four weeks to cast their vote in the general elections there, they returned back on March 22. On March 11, Rome had informed New Delhi that they would not be returning to stand trial.
The decision had upset India and the Supreme Court, taking note of Italy’s “betrayal”, had barred Italy’s ambassador from leaving the country.
Chief Master Sergeant Massimilano Latorre and Sergeant Salvatore Girone, on board the Italian cargo vessel Enrica Lexie, had shot dead the two Indian fishermen Feb 15 last year suspecting them to be pirates.

(March 23, 2013) The Italian prime minister and cabinet treated the marine murderers as heroes and refused to return them until compelled by my press release of March 12, 2013. For their crimes, the Italian prime minister and cabinet must come to India and be punished — that is, be shot like dogs — as described below on March 22 ’13 or be subject to punishment by India’s nuclear forces described in my press release of March 12, 2013.
(March 22, 2013) It was my press release of March 12, 2013 below saying “India has the means right now to destroy Italy’s largest cities … and India’s nuclear forces should do so without any reference to India’s civilian government … ” which led RAW to have Subramanian Swamy, who works with CIA-RAW, file a petition in the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court restraining the Italian ambassador from leaving India and the Italians sending the marines back to India. Before that the Chief Justice of India was trying, by hook or by crook, to get the marines off, quashing the proceedings against them in Kerala courts, requiring a special court, sending them to Italy, from where they had just returned, for a month on the pretext of voting so they could escape and India’s Foreign Ministry has been doing the same since the time of the murders. These wanton murders, via telescopic sights through which the murderers could clearly see the victims were unarmed and posed no danger, are a continuation of the killing of over ten million Indians in just the ten years after 1857 by the British in just Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Bihar. The two Italian marines can be executed by firing squad by the Indian navy or, better, shot like dogs by Kerala police but the Italian prime minister and cabinet also have to be apprehended and shot like dogs.
(March 12, 2013) India has the means right now to destroy Italy’s largest cities — Rome and Milan are the largest and should be destroyed — and India’s nuclear forces should do so without any reference to India’s civilian government or any other preliminaries while prepared to destroy Washington, New York and RAW simultaneously in case of any noises or intervention from these quarters. Alternatively — this is the better alternative — India’s nuclear forces should proceed to directly destroy Washington, New York and RAW simultaneously, without destroying the Italian cities, with a warning that additional U.S. cities will be similarly destroyed, with nuclear warheads already emplaced in them, if there is any retaliation.
