London: India’s Sushil Kumar muscled his way into the semifinals of the Olympics men’ 66 kg freestyle wrestling beating Ikhtiyor Navruzov of Uzbekistan here Sunday.

He faces Akzhurek Tanatarov of Kazakhstan for a place in the gold medal play-off later in the day.
The Indian could have wrapped up the fight in period 2 but Navruzov turned the tables on him with six seconds remaining.
Sushil got the measure of his opponent in period 3, winning it 2-0 to seal the contest.
He looks on course for his second successive Olympic medal.
The 2010 World Champion dismissed Beijing gold medallist, Turkey’s Ramazan Sahin, in the opening round held earlier in the day.
