Anna Hazare’s India Against Corruption movement has chosen Himachal as their next battle ground.

Taking forward their anti-corruption campaign the team has decided to start a campaign for a strong Lookayukta in Himachal Pradesh.

It has been decided that from May onwards an awareness campaign will be started which will cover all districts of the state and many key members of Team-Anna like Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh have already done a few trips of Himachal to prepare the ground for this.

Anna himself may visit the state sometime in May or June.

The team is already working actively in Shimla, Mandi and Kangra and preparing the ground in rest of the districts. They are also making regular posts regarding this on their Facebook page which has over 5, 80,000 members and asking people who want to get associated with the movement to send their details on IAC official mail id [email protected].

Any person seeking any further clarification is being asked to call on their national helpline 9718500606.

They have also created a page specially for Facebook ‘IAC Himachal Pradesh’ which can be viewed at http://www.facebook.com/pages/IAC-Himachal-Pradesh/367881009915691.

Being responsible citizens it is our responsibility that we should participate actively in this campaign and try to make this successful as it is related to our lives and nation.
