World Bank nod for Himachal roads , bridges projects

Shimla : The world bank has given approval to provide funds of Rs 74 crore for 37 rural roads and bridges across Himachal Pradesh , a top state government official said here Monday .

Confirming the receipt of a letter from Jairam Ramesh , union minister of rural development these projects will provide funds for ten projects in Hamirpur zone , seven in Mandi zone and eleven in Kangra zone .

Work is already underway in all these projects would be speeded up with the sanctioning of funds .
