In Jammu and Kashmir, Leh recorded the lowest temperature of the season Monday at minus 22.2 degrees Celsius while the cold wave continued unabated in Kashmir Valley.
Himachal Pradesh witnessed a sunny but cold day Monday with temperatures staying below freezing point in many areas.
Keylong, the headquarters of Lahaul and Spiti, was the coldest in the state at a minimum temperature of minus 12.4 degrees Celsius.
