Shimla : Congress president Sonia Gandhi telephoned the Himachal state Congress president Kaul Singh Friday and asked him how he was recovering from an accident injury in a hospital here .
Kaul Singh was also called up by other senior Congress leaders from Delhi including commerce minister Anand Sharma , sources said .
Singh has been receiving a stream of visitors in Snowdon (IGMC) hospital where he is recouping from injuries which he sustained in a road accident .
Earlier this week he met with an accident on the outskirts of Shimla and received injuries on his face , head , arm and back . Doctors said he was recovering fast .
