New Delhi : The number of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes directly recruited to the IAS, IPS and Indian Forest Service was 8,455, parliament was told today.
Of this, 3,251 were in the Indian Administrative Service, 2,515 in the Indian Police Service and 2,689 in the Indian Forest Service, Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office V. Narayanasamy told the Lok Sabha.
