Shimla : The warm spell is continuing in Shimla and other hill stations of Himachal Pradesh with another nicely warm winter day expected Tuesday despite some traces of clouds .
On Monday the mercury rose to a high of 22.5 C , a whopping 9.4 degrees C above normal while the minimum early Tuesday was 8.5 C , at least 4 notches above normal .
Kalpa in tribal Kinnaur saw a maximum of 18.3 C , some six degrees above normal .
Manali recorded a maximum of 17.4 C but experienced a chilly night at 1.4 C .
The weather this week is likely to be dry over Himachal , Jammu & Kashmir , Uttarakhand and other parts of northern India , the weather man said .
