10 killed, 33 injured in Delhi fire

New Delhi : At least 10 people were killed and 33 injured in a major fire that broke out during a congregation of eunuchs at a community centre in east Delhi Sunday, police said. The fire was still raging at 9.45 p.m.

“At least 10 people were killed and 33 injured in the blaze,” a police officer said.

The incident took place at around 6.30 p.m. at the centre in Nand Nagri area.

“Around 20 fire vehicles are at the the spot and are trying to douse the flames,” a fire official said .
