Shimla : JK Tyre opened its first exclusive outlet in Himachal Pradesh Friday,raising the total number of retail outlets to 125 in 75 cities of India,company officials said.
Ramesh Dhawala, the stateâ€™s food minister inaugurated the showroom at Waknaghat on the busy Kalka-Shimla national highway some 20 km from the state capital.
â€œOur first outlet in Himachal is equipped with the state of the art of wheel servicing equipment which includes computerized 3-D aligner,â€ said Ajoy Shah, deputy manager, JK Tyre.
â€œThe company plans to continuously expand its retail outlet network in other metros and mini metros and smaller towns of the country,â€ he said.
â€œJK Tyre has recently set up truck wheels outlets in Vijaywada,Ahmedabad and Nagpur to facilitate truck and bus radials,â€ said Shah.
JK Tyre is a leading four-wheeler tyre maker and claims to be the 19 th largest tyre maker in the world.
