Cricket : Himachal make 274 in Under-14 final

Himachal Pradesh were bowled out for 274 on the first day of the North Zone U-14 cricket final against Delhi here on Sunday. Nitin Sharma scored 75 in his two-and-half-hour stay at the wicket, hitting seven fours in 140 balls. He was also the top scorer for his side. Abhimanyu Singha made 66 off
114 balls, while Shubham Vij made 56 off 127 as Himachal set Delhi a decent target. The first innings is likely to decide as the match is a two-day affair.

It was interesting to see 14-year-old kids showing maturity and patience, playing each ball according to merit….
