Garbage Litters Himachal Tourism’s Naggar Castle Hotel Site

Negligence, apathy and fake publicity stunts don Himachal Tourism’s claims for making this hill state an international tourism destination. It seems Himachal Government and politicians can promote tourism based on eco preservation only in a press statements.

Naggar Castle, a state owned heritage property in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh run by Himachal Tourism is a practically demonstrated proof of sheer negligence in terms of cleanliness, spreading litter and garbage wilfully inside this heritage property campus.

Though, taking new initiatives for presenting Himachal cuisines and Dhaam in traditional manner within Naggar Castle has been a welcome step, liked by visitors who felt overwhelmed with this unique idea, but were also seen displeased with heaps of waste and garbage thrown openly visible to everyone within property campus.

Himachal Tourism and our politicians claim and plan to take initiatives for inviting international tourists during CWG games this year at Delhi, as the best way to introduce international visitors to state. But when our much publicised heritage properties that are internationally recognised will welcome overseas visitors with garbage and scavengers within its campus, then it will surely give an International Shock to visitors who may wonder if that’s tourism or garbage promotion!

Tourism authorities and politicians are advised to do a good homework first before asking international tourists to visit here or else they might get zero marks in their guest book feedbacks.

Nice work, Rajneesh Ji. Keep at it.

Yet another example of poor implementation of a wonderful idea by Himachal Tourism.

🙂 Preserve heritage & promote Eco sensitive, healthy tourism aesthetically.. not with press statements, our leaders should feel that !
